I will be travelling again the next couple of weeks – so hereby a last impression from Amsterdam, city of restaurants, bars and clubs.

Amsterdam is famous for its wonderfully exotic restaurants. Take for instance Indonesian, my favourite being Sama Sebo – you simply have to have the “rijst tafel” with over 15 different dishes. Sama Sebo has excellent service, a place to sit down, relax and be spoilt.

Another favourite is “George” – simple, good food, brassery style, it always reminds me of Balthazar in New York.

Or try a great Chinese Fusion restaurant like Nooch in the “negen straatjes” (anyone in Amsterdam can direct you to this great area of town). When you go to Amsterdam – you can only do as the locals do – be adventurous!!
